In addition to all the benefits of the popular MultiCyclone, the MultiCyclone Plus has a 40 ft2/75 ft2 or 3,7 m² / 6,9 m² cartridge filter on the top. Water flows in a tangential motion in the hydrocyclones which generate a powerful centrifugal effect. As a result, dirt particles are thrown against the hydrocyclone wall, after which they settle spirally in the dirt trap.

The filtered water moves to the center of the hydrocyclone where the flow is reversed and the water swirls upwards through a 40 ft2 /75 ft2 or 3,7 m² / 6,9 m² filter cartridge and then out of the MultiCyclone Plus. By adding this cartridge filter, an optimal filtration efficiency is guaranteed while the filter hardly needs to be cleaned. Most dirt particles are filtered out by the hydrocyclones. The amount of sediment is easy to check via the transparent settling flask of the MultiCyclone. The pressure gauge on the top of the filter indicates when to clean the cartridge filter. The cartridge filter is easily removable by loosening the locking ring.
